Application Guidelines

To help ensure your application is processed as quickly as possible, please review the following requirements before submitting:

Photos

• Member Card Photo: Your Member Card photo must clearly show your face. If you are applying as a couple, the photo must include both partners. This photo is visible only to staff and is used for identity verification. Do not upload individual photos for a couples application!
• Profile Photo: Couples should use a profile photo that includes both partners. You are welcome to cover your faces if you prefer; however, we encourage you to present yourselves authentically whenever possible.
• Please do not upload photos that include children or other individuals without their permission.

About You

Ohana's is a body-positive, LGBTQ+ inclusive community. We encourage everyone to "Be YOU with US" and share only what feels comfortable.

Your "About Us" essay is an opportunity to introduce yourselves, tell us a little about who you are, and maybe even what you are looking for.

Your application responses help us get to know you and determine whether you are a good fit for our community. Thoughtful, complete answers are important. Brief or one-word responses may affect whether your application is approved, waitlisted, or declined.

Application Requirements

• All application questions must be answered.
• Birthdates are required for all applicants.
• Before submitting, verify that your name and birthdate are accurate. This information is required for your background check. If any information is found to be incorrect at check-in and must be updated, you will not be admitted that evening, as a new background check will be required.
• To confirm you have read and understood the club rules and conditions, you must enter the hidden code word found within the rules. Applications submitted without the correct code word will not be approved.

Application Status

If your application is approved, you will receive notification by email.

Please do not arrive at the club until you have received your approval email! Following the application guidelines above will help ensure the best opportunity for approval.

*Single Male Applicants*

Submitting an application does not guarantee immediate approval.

We receive more applications from single males than any other applicant category. As a result, applications may be placed on a waitlist based on current membership demand.

At this time, we are accepting applications from single males only if they are sponsored by an established long-term couple or single female.

A sponsor is a current member who is willing to personally recommend you, verify that you are a good fit for our community, and support your application. By serving as your sponsor, they are placing their own membership reputation behind their recommendation and confirming that they believe you will be a respectful and positive addition to the club.
